Welcome
Hello and Welcome to The Journey is Our Destination. Initially, we mailed our journals, then we emailed them, now we publish them on our very own website. I tell you, technology is a blessing and a curse. Thoughts, welcomed or not, can be heard around the world in an instant. Wonderful! However, the flip side is that in a Facebook/Twitter world the expectation is that everyone knows what you're doing - when you're doing it. For better or for worse, this endeavor is a slow "work in progress". We removed our Blog because, quite frankly, we tend to write and create in between journeys in intense rushes of creativity. That's usually around the holidays when we feel the need to assure folks that we haven't sailed off the edge of the earth.
We have journeyed near and far since "The Hurricane Chronicles" - Along with our sailing adventures we have traveled to Egypt, Madagascar, Hawaii and Ecuador (including the Galapagos Islands). Thank you for taking the time to share our experiences. We have been updating and adding new photos (to the old entries as well!). Please check back, we promise, we will continue to add to our story.
