Welcome to the The Journey Is Our Destination. Over twenty five years ago, we closed our businesses and set out to see the world.
Long before we conceived of this chapter in our lives, we decided that we wanted to see the world - the world we dreamed about as children - a world before microwave ovens, satellite dishes and a McDonald’s on every corner. We wanted to be more than just tourists. We strive, in some small way, to experience life in other cultures. |

A note to our visitors: We know that many of you will look at our website on your phones and we truly appreciate you being here. However, if you can, we urge you to look at it on the largest screen you have. Like a film made for IMAX our site has the most impact on a larger screen (although we hope you'll enjoy it on any screen)

What's New!
Cuenca, Ecuador 8,400 feet in the Andes, palm trees, a superb quality of life for far less than in North America. We were intrigued, did our research, packed our bags and set off for Ecuador. What was it like to live in the City of Eternal Spring? We're happy to share what living in Cuenca was like. |
Our Journey Thus Far - stories told, experiences shared
|
Our objective is to entertain, inspire and facilitate. Whether you are planning to pack a bag and get out there or enjoy the world from the comfort of your armchair, we provide pictures and stories to fuel the imagination.
We hope to fire up your desire to see what's around the bend and over the horizon. Vertical Divider

We hope to inspire you to explore the world by sharing our journeys to places near and far, both on and off the beaten path.
In pictures and words, we'll take you places you may have been or just read about. |
